With a design based upon the amazing artistry of the Mimbres, a Native American people who lived in the rather isolated valleys and rivers of New Mexico, the Mimbres amulet possesses powerfully mysterious origins. Mysterious and beautiful, the pottery of these people portrays artistry that matches and, in many cases, exceeds the quality of our own modern craftsmen. Taking the shape of a stylized offering bowl, the amulet can be worn when one is making offerings, particularly to one's ancestors, as a display of gratitude and appreciation for those things that came before us. The pewter amulet measures approximately 1" in diameter and hangs upon a black nylon cord.
